This is a picture of a 6 lug HUB bolt pattern to a 5 lug by 4 and 3/4 pattern. this bolt pattern is used by the FD Rx7

Judge Ito 03-06-2003 06:51 PM

This hub shows where the original lugs are located. This modification could be done to REPU's and Mazda B2200 pick ups..

75 Repu 03-06-2003 06:55 PM

And the rotors have to be machined too right? I still wanna try figuring out if the hubs from a Rx7 FC would fit..

Judge Ito 03-06-2003 06:56 PM

nope the rotors do not have to be touched

MAZDAROTARYPOWER 03-06-2003 07:42 PM

nice! you machined them youself Ito?

I think all you have to do is drill them and tap them for a new wheel stud.Is that what you did Ito?

Judge Ito 03-07-2003 05:40 AM

I had my local machine shop do the hubs. some metal has to be removed from the center of the HUB. Then perfectly centered. At that point then you tap and drill.

Racer X 03-09-2003 01:23 AM

Hey ito how did you do the rear? For a 5 lug swap on the discs?or does yours have drums?

Judge Ito 03-09-2003 05:56 AM

This truck that I'm currently building is using the original drum rear. Ill post pics on monday..

Racer X 03-09-2003 04:21 PM

How do you convert that over to a 5 lug setup then?

75 Repu 03-09-2003 11:48 PM

The five lug conversion on the rear drums requires redrilling the drums and axles..

Racer X 03-13-2003 03:34 PM

I see in the first pic your missing 1 stud on it.Otherwise that looks really good.

Judge Ito 03-13-2003 07:33 PM

Ran out of studs..

Racer X 03-14-2003 02:50 AM

Need some pics when you convert the rear to 5 lug too.I love to learn this stuff.

Judge Ito 03-14-2003 05:18 AM

no problem. the next pics will be the back axle and the truck on the ground sporting the FD wheels..

Racer X 03-15-2003 01:06 PM

Fd3BOOST 12-15-2003 05:20 PM

Ito, how about them pics?

Also now that I have a repu lined up I will want to get the studs set up to hold the Fd rims.

Suggestions?

Could I send them to you and pay you to get them done?

I'll get them done to fit the FD bolt pattern. No problem.

Fd3BOOST 12-16-2003 10:11 PM

Obviously I need to get them off and ship them to you. Any idea of what It;s going to cost?

enzochan 09-14-2006 02:03 AM

Judge Ito, did you ever convert your rear end to 5 lug too? 6-lug sucks and the wheel choices are the worst so I'm eager to change my REPU.

enzochan 09-14-2006 02:03 AM

Oh yeah... brought this thread back from the dead!
