This car has been in storage in Az. since '93...now in my garage in nor cal. Pretty complete and original, except for the 70's hippie wheels.

Engine has a dead rear rotor, so its coming out, Most likely for a 86-88 rx-7 n/a? Don't know what to do regarding the ECU and my old instrument cluster, and if it will even work???

The car has to smog...so I figured that would be easiest/cheapest, most reliable package to go with?

So if anyone needs a complete 4 port 13b... hit me up!

The car is pretty solid. Some rust on the bottom edge of the passenger side front fender, nothing major, but I will have to pull the fender to fix.

Most of the issues are sun-damage related.

Plans for car include...

Streetported 6 port N/A mostly stock for smog.

Brake upgrade--- hoping to swap over FC stuff??? Would also like the 5 lug???

Dump the 70's wheels for something more modern and not 100 lbs each.

The seats are white vinyl... and the sun turned them into swiss cheese.

Paint... eventually? who knows maybe brown will come back in style?

This is my first Mazda so I'm not up on all the interchangeability of parts between years/models.

Any help with the brake swap issue would be huge!

Thanks.

Thanks... Still looking for a good (cheap, running, and smogged) FC donor car. I'm gonna need complete engine, ecu, exhaust, seats. Also brakes/hubs if possible.

For some reason the cosmo brakes are bigger in the rear? I'm hoping by swapping over the FC four piston stuff to the front of the cosmo, I'll be ok with the stock rears... then just re-drill the rear hubs?

If anyone has done this, or knows why it might be impossible, please let me know.

I'm also finding alot of body molding that is plastic, covered in a chrome coating, that cracks in direct sunlight. Anybody had any luck restoring these parts?

Thanks for any help.
