sidewinderx7 03-12-2004 12:40 AM

i'd like to see them on a car. But chrome is just too bling i think. *shrug* ...

but thats just me, do what you like! :-D

FikseRxSeven 03-12-2004 05:58 AM

they are nice..... but go for the wider set that look like volks

treceb 03-12-2004 06:43 AM

Martin was telling me how in his opinion, I should go for the Kazera's, in part because they're 18 and not 17, and also because they're a full 9.5" wide in the rear. but I like the style of the centerlines pictured above.. D'oh!

JimmyJimboJet 03-12-2004 04:55 PM

i bet it would look pretty good, but it would be nice if you could find some wider wheels, especially for the rears

I have stock chrome rims on my fd and they look awesome....i think those would look great..esp if the price is right!

FikseRxSeven 03-12-2004 10:14 PM

Those look nice, and they are forged (light+strong). I'm not a huge fan of chrome, but those are nice looking wheels.

I just looked on the CenterlineWheels site and they are only available with 5.5" of backspacing. That should be about 5.5 - (8+1.125)/2 ~= +24mm offset, which may be less than you want for the FD (stock is +50mm). That isn't an absolute sentence to rub (my track wheels stick out just as far as those would 10" wide +50mm offset), but you would need to be very careful with tire diameters in front to minimize the chances of rubbing. Moving the center of the tire out that far might have a negative effect on how the car feels when driving. And personally, I wouldn't spend money to upgrade the wheels without going wider.

I prefer polished aluminum over chrome, but nice design!

maxcooper 03-22-2004 11:13 PM

D'oh! I didn't see the +38mm offset part the first time. That should be fine on the FD.
