Does anyone have any experience with Wanli tires? Found a good deal on some 215/45-17 $235 for 4. Ratings of 280 treadware, A temperature, and AA traction.
Here's a picture of them I found at a random online tire shop. http://www.wheelmax.com/Tires/wanli.gif |

They do look like the AVS Sports, except for the fancy colored lines on them. Has anyone ever used these tires before?
|
One line is yellow, yellow = speed.
Besides that rando offtopic thing ive never heard of Wanli. |
lol all tires have some kind of fancy lines on them........ they wear out very quickly

Never heard of them, but I'd personally be wary of any tire wheelmax carries. Unless you just want inexpensive tires at any cost.
The sad thing about tires is the treadwear and traction ratings are totally subjective. It's not like there's a DOT guide on that stuff. Usually the numbers and letters are similar across all companies, however. I'm just wondering that if the 'AA' traction rating is compared to their lowest-performing tire, which may be a bicycle tire.. Anyhow, I hear that the Bridgestone Potenze SO3 Pole Position tire is going for about $235.. each. |
