Well here it is guys. This deserves to be here in hopes to save several some heartaches with wheel fitments and questions. It's late and I'm gonna do the short version.

17"

Low offset Fitment

8 and 9 +35 will work 225/45 255/40

Standard Fitment

8.5 and 9.5 +40 235/45 and 265/40

Common Symmetrical

8.5 F/R +40 245/40

Sleeper Fitment - MAnny Lozano

9.0 F/R +45 255/40/17,

Max Symmetrical

9.5 F/R +50 265/40/17

18"

Follow rules above while subtracting 5 from the aspect ratio/profile

However, there are some proprietary fitments for this diameter.

Johnny Fitment

18,9 and 10 +50 255/35/18 and 285/30/18

SSR Competition Fitment - Mike was first I saw with this, running V700

18,9.5 +50 front and rear, 265/35 or 285/30 all around.

Cooper Fitment

18,10 F/R +50-+52 285/30/18

Now these fitments have another variable to consider and that's tire selection. Each model may have a different section width regardless of what their sidewall may read. Also rim protectors are a commonly left out variable to take into consideration to avoid rubbing.

Alright guys. To all a good night. Please do email or call if you have any questions. This info is the easy part. The hard part is spending as little time as possible to find the wheels which follow these guidelines and your functions. That's where we can help. Should you be interested in some wheels or questions about fitment vs. function please email. I'd be glad to help. We have an array of wheels available in these fitments. Most in the upper range, but that's where we like to keep it. Don't forget about the club discount. If you're not registered and just a reader please do register. It will entitle you to a lot of savings. If you don't own a rotary that's fine. We take care of people who show interest in our "raring commodities" and like learning about our cars. lol.

Laters,

Please do not post questions here. Please only post those fitments you may have done without any fender mods. All fenders must be completely stock. If modified please state so:

Fender: Modified or Stock?

F Wheel width

F Wheel offset

F Tires size/Brand/Model

R Wheel width

R Wheel offset

R Tires size/Brand/Model

Springs?? Coilovers??? Drop???

Wheel Make and Model.

Please keep it short and simple in exactly this format. The first to post a fitment not within the ranges above will gladly be dubbed their fitment. This just makes it fun and easy when you inquire as well as gives notariety to those who share their experiences.

Fitments we're looking for

Max FITMENT WITH ROLLED FENDERS. Looking for varations of staggerred and symmetrical fitments with modified fenders. Any 10.5's out there.

Widebody Fitments: Petit Flares, Amemiya widebody, etc...

I will also do this for the FC for those who own FC's.

Thanks, Rishie

THanks for the PIN. That was quick too.

Alright guys. It's done. The fitment recipe is here to stay.

Thanks,

My FD wheel fittment is as follows -

Front:

18x8 +45 225/40-18

18x9 +38 265/35-18

The front has caught the fender lip on an off-camber hard right with a 'bump' in the road. Flat road cornering should not cause that.

The rear is about 1/4" from the QP lip.

TYSON 12-07-2005 10:17 AM

wheel: 18X9.5 +50mm

tire: 275/35/18 used Toyo RA1s

ride height: 25.5" to widest point of fender lip

suspension: 560 lb/in coilovers

Does not rub or touch while autocrossing on tight, bumpy course.

orb 08-24-2006 12:07 PM

Well this is not my car but its 10.5's on the rear so its worthy.

265/35/r18

9.5" +27

285/30/r18

10.5" +30

Fenders were rolled

for the front a 255 would be a much better choice as 265 is too wide.

Not seen in this pictures but 1.5 degrees of negative camber front and 1 degree rear would tuck them in a little better and make the fitment even better https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Sukai94 09-28-2006 09:38 PM

Fender: Stock

17x8 ASA AR1 (+35mm offset) with 235/40/17 Falken RT-615 Azenis all the way around. (great tires btw)

Springs?? Coilovers??? Drop??? NOPE!

wish i would have joined earlier! I did so much math to figure out what would fit https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

i bolted a set of 275 40r17 junker tires i found on my wheels, and with stock suspension these tires fit very nice, no signs that it will rub also... I have not been able to drive my car cause of the engine bein popped so i cant inform you of rubbing with bumps and stuff but it looks like it is going to be a ok..
