i want the AXIS Hiro rims. but i seen them marked staggered. what the hell does that mean? some of them are, and some are not. and while im here. does anyone know the weight of them? or where to get rims made from magnesium? i need a light weght wheel. thanks in advance.

staggered usually refers to larger wheel diameter for the rear..
yep, and as far as magnesium goes looks like halibrand is the style wheel you might wanna go with, kinda spendy.
Most of the current wheel manufacturers aren't gonna make a style in magnesium as a one off, unless they already have a set in production you might be outta luck there. |
staggared can also mean 17x7 front, 17/18x8 in rear, anything like that... its just means that they are different however they do it...
i think they were referring to staggered offsets.
staggered means either different offsets or widths or diameters or any combination of each from the front and rear wheels.. basically it just means that you wont have all four identical wheels.. two and two will be the same..
