Would 265/35/18 fit on a 18x9 rim without any problems on a stock suspension setup for the rear? Any info would help. Thanks

zerocool 04-10-2004 04:15 PM

I forgot to mention with a 38 mm offset. Thanks

FikseRxSeven 04-11-2004 09:31 AM

Thanks for the replys, what do u think would be a good match for the front if I went with 265/40/18's on the rear? The offset would still be 38 mm. Thanks

FikseRxSeven 04-12-2004 01:20 AM

no you have to go skinnier in front

rfreeman27 04-12-2004 06:48 PM

You dont have to go skinner on the front...

Sinful7 04-12-2004 11:30 PM

with a +38?? yeah you do. a standard match is 235/40.

Check the sticky at the top of this section for fittment and recommended tire sizes for the FD.

Yeah, I know I need to go skinnier in the front, but what dimensions should I go with if I went with 265/40/18 in the rear. I just want a good quality match for the front. Don't know how it will affect the ride. Thanks

The 265/40/18 is 1.7" taller than a stock tire size and 1.3" taller than the 265/35/18 you started with.

Use the 35 profile unless you are only using the 40 because that's what a BFG drag radial comes in.

There are plenty of tires available in the 35 profile otherwise. (more than the 40)

You can use the Tire Rack to find reccomended fitting of front / rear fitments.
