keep it stock, have you thought of white?
are you serious? white on black would look terrible.

just looked at those pics of your car zerobanger. it looks great! i think i'll try for the gunmetal first, and i can always go darker if i want to. how did you all apply the paint? just spray right on right?

i like it black glossy......... but i dont know how they would look on a black car..

in my opinion gunmetal would look good on a black car just so you have some kind of contrast

Hi, thanks for the comliments. Use Duplicolor Wheel paint and clear coat. You get at any pepboys. The color I used is called "Graphite" but its gunmetal in color.

I used 00 steel wool to remove imperfections from the wheels, then went over with mineral spirits. and then dusted the wheel so no lint. I would start with one wheel do 1 coat, then go to the next, and so on. Then do again. Put about 5 coats on. Then do the same for the clear coat.

Its very durable, does not chip from rocks on the road. It only comes off if a mechanic uses an air gun to remove your wheels and is not careful.

everything went well with my painting, but i wish the color was a little different, but i'm still satisfied. how do i post the pics though? there's no "attach file" option.
