I got pretty lucky the other day and picked these up for my FC. I was able to get them used (barely) and for a price I could never find in the US. Spring rates are F 7kilo and R 3kilo, they are 26 way adjust able, so dialing them in should not be a problem. I will post the results of use on the tack when I get the car complete next summer. I can't wait to try them out https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

look at the beefiness of the front shafts, I don't think I will have to worry if the front end comes up, these are not going to break anytime soon, around an inch in diameter

I bought a set of new JIC FLT-A2's over at Sanjyo's last year for the same reason. I got this stuff brand new for several hundreds of dollars less than any place over here that were selling them at the same time.
Am I mistaken, but are those progressive rate springs up front? They sure look as though they are. |
ooooooo ahhhhhhhh
i would second the progressive notion, mang |
i need some of those for my FC https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

yes they are progressive rate springs, This set is somewhere in the $1600-$1800 price range new, these have 5000 kms on them, and anybody that knows me knows I am pretty stingy when it comes to buying expensive stuff, but I will splurge from time to time. These were just way to good of a deal to pass up

I can't believe how much you paid for those https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

I can't even describe how well these coil overs work....they're DRAG coil overs...they'll improve launch like you wouldn't believe. Your ass end will drop, tires will plant and your hole shotted out...
With the right tires, these things are a drag racers dream. |
well i have friends in japan so you never know haha
|
Very nice. They look like rally suspention
|
I gotta get those
|
I tought the had helper springs? And yea, the HKS are really designed for drag launches. Dunno how good that would be on a road course.
|
Ihor, the HKS Hipermax II is for road course type use.
Conventional drag shocks/springs are not meant for street use even, car is very difficult to control around corners. The Camel - How do the HKS drag shocks compare to a conventional 90/10 drag shock anyway? Is the travel as exaggerated? |

I remember reading in a Option a while back they tested normal suspension vs drag. With the HKS drag they knocked a second off the 1/4 mile time.
They are really hard to find used in Japan, impossiable in the states! |

IGY was like WTF???? and so we tested it and low and behold...they were HKS drag. I love paying $0.00 for the best drag suspension! |
Nice! Your azz will squat and your nose will pop up (with enough power) Jspec, can the car still turn reasonably?
|
How is the best way to set them up? High at the back?
