I'm looking to buy new tires and thought about the Nitto 555R Extreme Drag's.. (I've heard from someone that they are not made anymore..) and the Nitto NT-555 "Extreme ZR's.. I checked out: http://www.nittotire.com/mainframe.asp and found those two.. I don't plan on going to the drag strip alot, actually not much at all.. but, probably some racing on the streets.. :smirk: The only thing is, I don't know if the drag's will be as good on curvey roads and other difficult conditions.. (wetness.. etc.) I'm not sure which tire I should choose.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif Any suggestions?

Don't get the R's they are really shitty on the wet roads from what I hear from lots of people. Not to mention the soft compound makes wear quick. If your not dragging alot just get the regular NT555

well 555r's are good drag radials. personally i'd either get crap tires for cheap or really good tires. going in between usually don't help do anything except waste money....

Yea, I plan on buying good tires the next go-round.. and the 555R's seem like a great set.. but I will be doing daily driving most of the time with her.. I just wasn't sure if the 555R's would do as good on the strip as they would on normal day to day driving conditions..
