So here's the deal...I want to replace the shocks/struts and springs in my car, and lower it at the same time. I'm looking at putting RB springs in with Tokico HP struts/shocks. The thing is that there is one new monroe strut up front...should I keep monroes up front and just put tokicos in the rear. Will I notice a difference if I do this? Also, are these mods gonna cost me big bucks since all of the parts have to be shipped to Canada??

The car is not going to be autoXed so I don't plan on getting adjustable shocks. My main concerns are regarding the monroe struts...has anyone had any experience with them as compared to tokicos? Any opinions? I'll be open to any suggestions.

Thanks

Brad

Uh, I can't say for sure since I've got a very well set-up suspension, but I'd venture the guess that the monroes are not anywhere close to the level of performance the tokico's are. Now, for non-adjustibles I've heard good stuff about the HP's, and of course KYBs are (at least on my 'vert) the stock brand of non-adjustables. So stick with those two brands and you'll end up at least as good as new stock, if not better. I've always put monroe in the Honduh category.

But I'm stupid anyway so don't pay much attention to me. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
