hrmm I can't decide which one.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif
what do you guys think? 547R 545R i hope those work, if they don't you can find them at www.hrewheels.com in the 'wheels' section listed in the 540r line I have a black FD stock body just in case if you wanna help me figure out which would look better https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
545R all the way.. i seen the 547R in person, they dont look as good as the 545 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
i dont know benny, in the pics the 547r looks amazing
I agree with benny. I like the whole simple 5 spoke design. Both look great though!
damn, those rims must be so expensive
Both are nice, but I think I like the 547 better. I myself plan to buy Kinesis K58s if I ever stop blowing motors.
good possibility that im gettin fikse fm5's looks very close to kinesis k58 and 545 's spoke pattern...... i if i had a choice i'd rather have profil 5s ...... looks like the 547
They are both really sweet. Maybe someone could photoshop them on to give you and idea and help you choose.
I'm with none of you, okay go with the 45R's
just took this one
other side i'll put up better ones later for anyone who has skills or the inclination to photoshop those wheels on my car for me https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
both nice. um, 545 if i had to choose one.
545 would be my choice as well although both look great
Which ever ones you don't get....send them to my house https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
HRE's are BADASS |
Both look good.
sigh.. i wanted 18s in back and 17s up front but the lowest diameter these wheels come in are 18" https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif
18s would work....... get low profile tires in front and taller in the back....... it would probably do the same effect
hrmmm https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif if i were to get 18s all around with widths 9.0" in the back and 8.0" in the front.. what size tires would you suggest for that effect?
I'm guessing 245/40 fronts and 265/35 rears but I'm not a wheel expert
Man I'd kill for some 540R's, these are perhaps my favorite wheels of all time.
https://www.nopistons.com/forums/upl...1048546868.jpg |
540 is the ****!!!
Yeah pretty much any HRE wheel is the ****. Too bad I don't have $5000 to drop on wheels
hrmm which do you guys think would look better on a black FD ? 540R or 545R ?
540R dood, no question. I https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif to the 540R. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
yup 540 is my choice too
ok 540Rs it is.. whenever i get around to saving up the $$ https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
how much money exactly are you talkin about?
Well, you'd need good size wheels to get the max potential out of the car and wheels at the same time. So we're looking at perhaps 18x10's in the rear and 18x8.5's in the front. That said, the basic wheel package from HRE will run you about $1,300 per wheel for the rears and about $1,200 for the fronts each, Silver painted polished lip and HRE center caps. Now you'll need a good set of tires. For the fronts let's say you go with 245/40's and the rears you go with 285/35's and just as an example I'll use my tires of choice the Potenza S03's.
Total wheels and tires: $6,300 mounted, balanced and delivered to your place. That's an estimate, please feel free to make any corections neccessary. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
wow thats a lot of money
Gotta pay to play

$6000 for HRE's on my car would be the best $6000 I ever spent in my opinion.
Martin, Good deal on the Fiske's. I'm honestly not a big fan of the FM5 though. They look O.K. but not my favorite. |
