Does anyone know anything about the HKS Hipermax Type-D coilover setup? A buddy of mine is trying to sell me his. They have about 10k on them. My question is they are rated at 6kgf/mm front and 4kgf/mm rear. Is this to soft? This is my first FD and I want it to handle, stick and be fun to drive! I live in Arizona, roads aren't to bad, but you do have the occasional pot hole. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Any info or recommendations would be great!

I think they are the drags. What is the difference between the two? |
the hyper drags wont work well for what you want to use the car for. the hyper drags lets the car dip on the rear, and have a slow rebound.. so the front of your car wont have much control. they hyper drifts have very little rebound and high springrate on the rear so its easy to make the car drift.

Any good recommendations for a coilover setup that will work for me? I was reading about the group buy on the Apexi ExV's but they sound like they are very stiff too.

Actually they are the Drifts. How will they make my car handle? Would they make it stay flat and stiff? |
pretty much
