How do you get the EDFC motors off the struts? My car came with the TEIN Flex coilovers and the EDFC on them, I frankly don't like having the EDFC in the car since I simply set my struts once and leave them alone....I don't adjust them ever, so what is the point?

Problem is, I am not sure how to remove them....and I don't want to break anything by trying to just give her hell to get them off.

Thanks,

Scott

The shaft that they thread on to is pretty burly as is the thread section of the motors themselves. Just grab and twist. The motors are 360 degree, meaning that you're not going to break them by hitting their stop point, they don't have one. If they used a threadlocker on them, there is a thin raised hex on the bottom of the motor that you can get a wrench on to break it free.

Also, there is a small part that is removed from the shock shaft itself when installing the EDFC. I'm not sure if you can run them without this or not. If you don't have these parts, I would recommend consulting a Tein dealer before proceeding.
