I just installed mine w/ eibach springs. I was wondering what settings on the shocks you people were running. I left them 2 in fron and 4 in rear. Feels good, but maybe it can get better.

thanks

just gotta play around with it. i do that at the drag strip. carlos has those too!

rotarychainsaw 03-09-2003 06:01 PM

Yeah Carlos says 1 in fron 2 in the rear. I like the way it rides now tho, I will definately mess with them in the upcoming months.

that's the setup I eventually want...give updates when you have an honest verdict https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I already have verdict. They're freakin' awesome! The car corners way flatter and don't get nearly as much dive and/or sqat. Another plus was that now the car is level. Before the drivers side sagged down before, and looked really wierd.

I also installed the mazdatrix rear camber adjuster. Not really as noticable a difference as the springs. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

next on the list...... Swaybars *yay*

this would be one config....straightline

completely dependent on your target or specific application....

youll most likely need to have a comprise...

unless of course you dont mind changing settings for each app...

what are the eibach spring rates btw...

FCmaniac 03-10-2003 06:53 AM

Eibach progressive rates are 70-185 in the front and 85/90-165 in the rear.

I love the AGX's for the price... I set them to 1 in the front and 2 in the rear for a soft street setting and 2 in front, 3 in back for race but depends on track condition, sway bar set up, tire pressure, etc. I dont like the progressive Eibach's for autox.

good for daily driver as well?

winger 03-10-2003 07:26 AM

Baldy: the eibach springs are the best for daily driving period. theyre very soft and very stiff at the same time

j9fd3s 03-10-2003 11:49 AM

i have 400 and 220 springs, and the shocks are set to 2 and 3, that seems to be the "best" setting for all around use.
