is there any reason I couldn't remove my abs pump and just run new lines from master cylinder divided to the wheels? I've already disconnected my abs and just want to clean up a little.

Yes you can.

The proportioning valve for Non ABS and ABS cars share the same part number. Which means they are the same bias %.

Cleanest method would be to go down to your mazda dealership and order the 3 lines you need.

You will need

Main rear line that runs almost the full length of the car from the proportioning valve to the rear distribution block near your gas tank

the front drivers and front passenger lines

The lines are around 20 bucks each. Huge savings over buying generic lines and having to try to flare them yourself.

You need to "T" the front output of the master cylinder for the front brakes. There are two methods. Easiest method is to find a banjo bolt M12.XX??? I can't remember from a motorcycle dealership. Most motorcycles (japanese ones) use a banjo bolt to T off the master. Get 3 new copper crush washers (this is crucial). Use the banjo fittings from the ABS pump (there are two). You will need both of them.

Run the new pre bent lines to the master. Use the banjo bolt and banjo fittings. Bend the lines by hand to fit slightly and you are done.

See pics.

I am in complete agreement with Cheers! I did the same thing, except that I scored some very nice lines out of the u-pull-it junkyard for next to nothing. I put in a new rebuilt non-ABS master cylinder, which has the extra port. No bending required.
