To the fabricators out there, i need some one to make me a brace for my fc that connects both sides of the frame rails together. I am looking at cutting out the front tubular cross member but want to have some thing up front that will replace any structural integrity it might have lost from removing the tube. It can mount anywhere and would prefer it to use existing bolt holes like tow hooks if possible or under where the crash bar went since i no longer have it.

Be willing to compensate for time and materials.

Thanks.

I can make this with no problem.

But just to let you know before you waste any money. You do not need to brace it there. Anything past the strut towers does not need bracing.

So you are saying that the front end wont flex? I also have the radiator support gone. Im just worried that if I take off the tubular cross member that when I get into it the front will flex. I also have a strut bar if that helps in my case? i will snap a few shots of what I have to work with and you tell me.

Post a few pics and I'll let you know...,

But if you have the factory sub-framne in, your good. anything past that is not in need of any side to side bracing.

What I would like to do is re do my radiator frame so it is a little lower but I would need to cut out the cross member.

Dont worry about it, cut that thing out without any worries. Your plenty fine, The subframe will keep the car plenty rigid.
