Electronic distributor

Good morning folks, hellow my name is Mario and I am new to the forum. I have a 1971 RX-2 with a 12a, I want to install a 1984 distributor. I am stumped with the wiring from the distributor all the way to the old wiring to the coils. Is there any wires that will no longer be needed. Thank you and take care.
