In my never-ending quest to try to figure out why my motor is overheating (after backflushing the radiator), I'm looking into possibly replacing the oil cooler, as perhaps it's just got too much build-up?

Places like Advance Auto Parts and what-not only seem to sell add-on coolers, so I'm wondering what my options were. Would I be able to use 2 add-ons as replacements, assuming I could plumb them?

No, I haven't replaced either t-stat, and I'm currently running sans t-stat for the non-oil cooler until I can get a suitable replacement (I only run the car for prehaps 10min at a time right now to test stuff)

As for cooler being cleaned and what-not, does that apply to *both* the radiator AND oil cooler?

I'll have to look at the FSM to see where the oil t-stat is and how to check if it's working properly...thanks for this info
