cosmo jdm motor swap

so i have a 1990 mazda rx7 gtu n/a car, and i was looking to install a jdm cosmo twin turbo motor in the old girl. i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to bolt it up to the stock tranny, or if i needed a new one, also any other info would be greatly appreciated, thank you

All rotary trannies will bolt up, but they have different shifter locations, the TII tranny is fine for the RE, as they are the same dimensions.

your goin to want to upgrade to a full t2 drive line as the axels , diff, trany and drive shaft on a na wont hold up to boost . and if you just go with a t2 tranny your goin to have to have a drive shaft made.
