Alright guys.. I know we all want quick answers to our problems with our cars... But since your car isn't front of me and I don't know the history of your car, you need to put certain info about your car on your posts.



Think of it like this... when you go see a doctor, they will ask you for your symptom, history, family background , etc etc....



What I need for you guys to start doing is:



1. State mileage on the body, engine, turbo, etc... More detail info your give the better.. for instance.. is it an R1 with dual oil cooler..



2. Any mods recently done, and previous mods. - What I've seen is that ususally people put some new part and it starts to do something weird.. most cases, its simple as installing the part wrong.. or defective part.



3. When was the last maintenance work you've performed and what they were? This is very important! Some issues I've seen were taken care of by simple maintenance.. ie sparks, wires, oil change, tranny change, etc... State when certain maintenance was done..



4. And finally what kind of problems you are having and what you have done to try to fix it... Dont just state the problem and hope us to fix it... Don't be lazy! If you own an FD, you are not a baby! Think about your problem and try to fix it on your own first.. Then state your problem in detail and tell us what you've try to do to fix it.. Don't just get on this forum and hoping someones going to give you the magic answer..



All these things above will save time on diagnosing your problem... without it, I or someone else would ask and eventually we all would be sick of asking the samething over and over and over...



So, follow these simple few rules... this will also help others to diagnose their issues in the future...



If I continue to see people just posting there problems without any of these things I mentioned before, I will either make you read this, or just lock it down..
