Even if the plug is mostly supported and you think there is no way it would fall out. Just had this happen to my motor, and it toke part of one side seal with it, enough to cause semi low compression in one chamber. All 3 plugs on that side were MIA, no damage except one seal and spring, but its slightly annoying having to tear her down gain for such a simple mistake. Oh well, in go the rx8 parts this time.

On these motors, since they tend to be for higher powered setups, I normally use solid corner seals.

Mine is an aux bridge and i'm taking them all out, only having them on one side would bother me for some reason, but i dont see why it wouldnt work.

I dont use corner seal plugs on any engines. As long as you dont lug arround and coke up your engine there is really no use for them.
