hey, just wondering if it would be possible to use my S4 ECU to run an S5 engine, i know that omp is a problem, buton my S4 i premix and will continue to do so when i get my new motor. but i would really like to run the motor off my S4 ECU as i want to run the 2.0(upgrade my 1.7) rTek Chip. i know the S5 has qa MAF comparied to the S4 AFM, but i think i read the 2.0 runs off a MAP sensor (anyone conferm this for me??)

sorry if this was already posted, but i searched and didnt find anything, and the engine suplyer i want to go threw tells me it would be easyer and quicker for me to just get a S5 motor than an S4 so if i can do that and run my rTek i will, otherwise ill bear the search for a S4

Um you could run it off a S4 ECU minus the injector plugs being different, compression being different, and turbos not being the same, you can wire in a s4 MAF, sure a Rtek 2.0 would help you tune for the new compression but yeah...I am sure it can be done. Thinking of doing it myself, my buddy just made his S4 NA into a S5 Turbo II in under 24 hours by hacking into the harness and swapping over plugs and such...so yeah...It can be done with the right amount of work.
