Methanol As A Primary Fuel?

Hey fellas I was just wondering if any of ya'll have dealt with rotary engines that run on methanol only? any input would be great.

This one runs on methanol.

He has a mechanical FI with no IC, and I think 16 injectors.

One giant turbo, 4 huge ignition boxes.

~1300HP

That run had too much clutch at 50 ft, so the time climed to the low 9's.

it takes about 2.5 times more methanol to make the same power as gas.



As far as tunning, its a bitch but the capabilities are awesome.
