Did they make mazda speed motor mounts for the FD? just wondering because i have 100K on my stock ones but want some better than stock and since i work at a mazda dealership and made friends with parts guys i can get myself a good deal.... just wondering

 

i know Mazdacomp made/sold stiffer ones... not sure if they were badged as mazdaspeeds or not.

 

I'm pretty sure Mazdaspeed made some. Places like JapanParts.com stocks that kind of stuff so hit them up.

 

i had new stock ones and they were fine....

 

does anyone have the stiffer ones? are they worth the extra $$$ ?

Well if you want stiff ones then just get polyuerothene ones. It will improve thottle response slighty. It will also cause the car to rattle more. The rattle will be more noticable than the improved throttle response. I have removed mine and went back to stock.

 

I bought brand new stock mounts also. They are plenty.
