suposed to get the same engine as the Mazdaspeed 6, but no AWD, should make for a nice hot rod set up, if they actually come out with it!

Yup the frog looking one. I dont know why they would'nt put the AWD(weight?!), that would be pretty fast what I would think should compare with the Evo, Sti. We know the Ms6 is not gonna be as fast as the 8, the ms3 better be or I'll be dissapointed, mid 14's is not that impressive, Mazda needs to raise the bench or atleast stay up to par; if they dont want to introuduce a rotary powered vehicle surpassing the fd's performance(or any mazda vehicle faster, thats weak on the zoom zoom zoom part.

To be fwd, too me thats a waste, how are theyr'e gonna lay that power down?

Oh and can we get a link.

They could probably do it for close to the same price as an SRT4, that would make it very impressive if you ask me.

I agree, if thery're going to make it FWD than theyre going to be in competition with the Srt-4, wich means theyre probably going to have to keep it in the low-mid 20's, which I think would be pretty darn splendid.

Even if they make cars with a good sports car feel and balance they need quarter mile times stock to make sales and compete with all the other cars that have been coming out.

no they dont. back in 2001 mazda made us auto-x the protege vs the civic vs the corolla. the protege might not be faster, but it was like night and day better the first time you turned the wheel. the accord was just downright dangerous

My 2001 Mazda Protege MP3 had an AWSOME suspension. The best handling car I've ever rode in.
