Well, I haven't had my car on the track for over a year now, lol. When my SE was stock w/ clogged cats & slipping clutch(oh and the 185 tires)...

17.3 @ 82.3MPH - I had the MPH but my time sucked

RT: 6.43

17.5 @ 82.7MPH - Bad launch

RT: 1.02 - yea yea yea...

Later I put a straight pipe on and intake(had 195 tires then & slipping clutch still):

16.6 @ 84.3MPH - Best time in NA form....

RT: 6.11

Personal best 1/4 mile time in any car was

13.8 @ 93.? MPH - '94 camaro

RT: 5.55

I haven't been on the track for over a year and all my friends used to have slow cars, lol...I have feeling things will be much different soon

I think you screwed up on your RT, either that, or you just have WAY slow reaction times.

Yeah, where I run, a 0.5 RT is "perfect". Mine is usually about 1.2, but I'm actually seeing the green before I launch. With more practice, I should be consistently under 1.0 sec.

Question to you drag racers out there: Does the RT figure in the ET? Is the ET the time from when you launch until you cross the finish line? Or is the ET the time from the green light until you cross the finish line?

ijust read this somewhere, damn.

taken from mobile entertaiment mag(who would have thought)

Elapsed Time(ET): In a drag race, the measurement of time from when a car leaves the starting line until it crosses the finish line at the end of the quarter mile. Usually accompanied with a trap speed measurement, the speed (in MPH) at which one crosses the finish line.

Reaction Time(RT): In a drag race, the measurement of the time from when a light signals the start of a race to when the car leaves the starting line.

Thank you, Treceb! So, the RT won't affect your ET, but if the other guy beats you off the line, he could be the winner, even with a slower ET.

Holy ****...sorry about the RT guys...I ment to put the decimal BEFORE the numbers, lol...they should be .643/1.02/.611/.555. Sorry for the confusion. I was drunk or something...damn a 6 second reaction time...I dont think ANYBODY is that bad.

And no, the RT does NOT count into your ET...its just a sign of how well you launched basically...

RT helps you win the race doesn't affect your time though
