S4/S5 tailight project in progress, the degree of shading can be adjusted

of course

S4 lights: were crackly and ugly, now sanded, epoxy coated, sanded and painted

lenses were scrathed and hazy, now shaded, sanded and polished

S5 lights were hazy and the housing had some deep

scrathces in them, now sanded, clearcoated and shaded

keep in mind the flash bounced off the reflector on the S5 light

over and under shot with no light coming thru from behind:

side by side, again no light coming thru:

S4 no light:

S4 with little bit of light from a lamp in the backround:

S5 lens no light coming thru:

S5 with some light coming thru

That looks gorgeous, but tough to see. I wonder how they look with the lights shining through the lense?

Nice as hell, though!
