was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the light trigger from the stock alarm.

yes, i know what is setting the alarm off.

no, i don't care about what is setting the alarm off.)



my issue is:



I do not want it to touch the lights when the alarm gets set off. I find that lights do not really help in theft deterrence, and I just want to disable the lights during the alarm trigger so as not to destroy the battery, when she is in secure garage, and i am dead asleep.

 

On the alarm "box" there are 2 connectors. the white wire with blue stripe on the 8 pin connector is the output wire to the headlamp relay

 

where is this alarm box you speak of?
