Well I have a roommate who is the typical nerd. Watches Start Trek all the time. Plays video games a good 80% of the day and of course has a retainer. He bought 2001 a space odyssey and I watched it for the first time. It completly blew me away. It was pretty good I guess but my question is....What the hell was the point of the movie? Man Vs. Machine? Any people have different views?

 

i just like the first 10 minutes... rest of the movie was retarded

I'm guessing everyone was just as stumpped as I was? To be honest I really didn't like the movie, however I hear all the time that people didnt like it because they didn't understand it.

 

that movie was a really good movie.. dont knock it you nuckle dragging neophytes!

 

Im not knocking it. I just want to know the point of it because right now I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life.
