Dang. I got an 87 GXL N/A. It was sitting in storage for a year. It cranked but wouldnt start. We got a new fuel pump b/c it wasnt getting fuel. Changed the old gas and it cranked too slow. Then we changed the oil cuz its black as hell and the filter to 1-w-40 and it still won't start cuz it cranks waay too slow!

I'd say the battery is toast, best to hook it up to a charger for a while anyway, maybe even switch to the high amp engine start feature when you are going to start, a car that has been sitting a while can be a pain to get going. Check the plugs too.

Have you checked your plugs, but it's more likely to be the batery.

You might go ahead and drop some ATF in the chambers as well. Those seals are probably all sticky. Although it wouldn't make it turn slow.
