A little while ago I posted a topic of why Rx-8 is not going to have a turbo. Sure enough I was proven wrong. I further said that a supercharger version of the renisis is more likely, and I'm sure to see the kit from some one soon. My question is which do you feel would better serve the Rx-8 supercharger or turbo?

.. the rx-7 has a rich histroy of turbo so try to be open minded with your responce.

SC, it would fit nicely in the engine bay and it would be easy to install.

I hate SC's but for the RX8 it would probably be best, except for parasitic losses... Anyone wanna do a comparison?

I'll do the comparison for you if you don't mind funding the entire project. I'll pay for gas if it helps though.

turbo, no need to waste the large amount of exhaust energy.. Thats why rx7s have always been turbo...

I was gonna say the RE's massive exhaust gas velocity makes perfect sense for a turbo, but the renesis will be slower in that dept. I have driven a SC 13B.

Turbo, turbo, turbo
