hey fellas, im in australia, and there aint that many places for a rotary repair, and who, i was dismantling my 13b and i cant get the flywheel off!!, i got the nut off, but still cant get the wheel off ... also, how in gods name do u get the eccentric shaft out?, i got the first housing off, but cant get the 2nd one off, as the shaft **** are bigger than the holes in the middle???? plz help...im stuck here until my manual arrives!

Hi there, you should be able to dislodge the flywheel with a plastic deadblow hammer and a block of wood.

Wack it hard on the eadges to break it loose, like you would to a jar of jelly.



The engine is a sandwich, you have to take pieces off one at a time. Starting at the rear.

so after the flywheel, remove the the tension blots. Make sure to do them in sequence according to the shop manual.

You can download one from iluvmyrx7.com if you dont have one. Then remove the rear plate, then you wil be able to remove the rear rotor and it's seals. Dont forget the housing dowel pins. Next would be the rotor housing and the other set of dowel pins. Then move on to the center plate. After the center plate is out you shold be able to lift out the eccentric shaft. Move on to remove the forward rotor and it's seals/dowel pins also. You should be left with only a housing to lift out then the front plate. I assume that you already removed the front cover, timing chain, and the keys etc..

yer so i just whack the ***** off aye.... yer, took all the timing chain off. i aint stoopid
