A Good Buy?

i am new to the rotary world and i was wondering if you guys think this would be a good buy...

my mate's mate is selling his RX2 Coupe for $3000. it has a 13B Bridgeport, 5 speed and some other **** (like a locked-diff). the car is complete and registered, but he is selling it unregistered. it runs 14 seconds down the quarter mile, and thats all i really know about it. oh, and its in Primer. so do you think this ir a good buy for $3000?

Sounds pretty good. Just make sure you have somebody to check over the car before you buy, and how many kms has it done since the last rebuild, coz bridgeported mazdas arent known for theor longivity!

I suppose it depends on if you plan to register it or not. If its gonna be a huge hassle and $$ to fix up and get permits to get it over the pits, it might not be worth it, but all said, $3000 is pretty good.
