hey guys i have the apexi rx6 turb and i went to fix my oil leak only to discover that the an fitting is stripped. this fitting is the one that sits on top of the turbo and is connected to the oil feed lines. i tried the local shops and no one can get it because it has that wierd regulator hole in the bottom of the fitting. so i went to a apexi dealer and they said that they cannot get it and to try to call apexi. so i called apexi usa and they said that they cannot get it either because the turbo comes as a kit and they are not allowed to seperate it out. so the told me to try to find the fitting from a earl's store. which i already tried. i think it is a -4 an straight fitting. anyways apexi usa has always ben helpful in the past and they are going to call apexi japan to see if the can get the part number so i can order it through a local shop. so i thought i would put up a post to see if anybody here knows that part number so i dont have to wait for apexi to call me back.

thanks

john

Not sure on a part # or anything but try summit racing or jegs.

You could always use a regular fitting and pop a restrictor pill in the hose...IF you can fit it without taking apart the hose.

E-mail me a picture, and I can tell you what you need to look for. Chances are that Summit has it, as long as it's not some oddball metric adapter.

APEXKW

That looks like an Earl's straight -6AN to -4AN. I am away now so I cant look on mine but it looks that way. Summit definitely should have it. If not, do an internet search it is pretty common part. They are $3-$5 bucks each.

its 4an on both sides. i know because i had it measured. i am awaiting a call back from holley to see if they have it. also i am awaiting a email response from apexi japan for a part number. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

no john... it has to be a -6 to -4an fitting... one side is indeed bigger than the other...

apexkw 01-17-2003 11:51 AM
