Where can I get my turbo balanced? My car threw a seal and i'm worried that it might have messed up my 60-1. On average how much does it normaly cost to have a turbo balanced?

i am sure that there are many excellent shops re turbo service but i also know that there are (just like engine shops) alot of shops that do shoddy work. i recommend that you contact Kevin Draper at Majestic Turbo in waco tx. he is the owner. he is a racer. among other things he built the turbos for Racing Beat's super duper Bonneville FD. it is my experience that they do outstanding work. Kevin gave me his home phone and asked me to call at any time of night when i got my setup running as he was so interested. you might explore having him put a Bullet on your compressor wheel... increased flow in the 14-18% area. also how about machining 4 ounces off your turbine wheel. i don't know what they charge for balancing but i think they are very realistic as to their pricing. my friend just bought a 3 rotor fd w a T66 on it and before the snow melts we are going to send it to Kevin for a check out.... maybe trade it for something a bit larger.
