hi i'm buying a TS04 with a .96 A/R for a good price, the turbo needs a rebuild because it had an apex seal go thru it.
i couldn't find alot of info on this turbo and i don't know whats the max whp it could do on an FD with a race port? also my setup is 2 1300s and 2 850s with the PFC, how much whp can i make safely with this much fuel, and will the cosmo pump be ok or do i need to upgrade? |
its also a Q trim
|
Thats gona be a lot of turbo with Q trim. With that injector combo at 85% duty cycle should be good for roughly 465rwhp and 550rwhp @ 100% duty cycle. Good idea to get another pump along with the cosmo with that setup.

when you say alot of turbo, do you mean its going to take forever to spool up ?
also whats the efficiency range of this turbo? and how is the Q trim different? |
P-trim is what is normally used on stock to street ported motors. Q-trim flows more exhaust and is normally used for bridge ports. Not sure about spooling characteristics it will have, but it should deliver a lot of power.

is this turbo compared to a 60-1? or a 62-1? or is it smaller |
No its different, the 60-1 is the same as a t04s.

one more question 94touring, how much does it cost in general to fix a turbo that had an apex seal go thru it? and is it being a Q trim going to effect the price?
thanks |
Umm, I think most rebuilt kits run a few hundred bucks. Also depends on what breaks. Q trim might play a small role in the price.
