i was wondering if anyone had this turbo on their car, just wanted to know how they liked it, what they ran for boost and any input they had on it. thanks
|
I have it. Haven't driven it yet...
Rode in one though... Stupid fast is all that can describe it. Little slow to respond at low RPMS but HOLY ****... After that call NASA. |
im really thinking about a t04r instead of a 62-1.

Hummmmmm??? full boost by 4000 rpms I believe...much faster than my 5000 rpms with the T-45S... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif |
9base3 where did you get the to4r from?
|
62-1 is similar to the T66, jspec?

And just to add another option to the pot, ASpec tuning said that they are very nearly ready to release their T04R BB unit, which is pretty much a T04Z without the different name. Just thought that you guys would want to know that.

They have a To4Z sitting at one of the tunning shops here in Okinawa, pretty turbo to bad it's pretty expensive as well...
As for the R, I was boosting 1.4 with a p-trim 1.0 a/r housing for a while... very nice smooth power, easy to control the car and with a good usable power band... |
maybe i'm bias...but i love it...it's not the biggest turbo out there, but it sure does do some damage on the highway...

Zach -Sean [/quote] They are doing that as well. But on their site they have an icon for a T04R BB unit that says coming soon. Unless they are calling the GT40BB a T04R BB. You might know better than I would. |
yah prices or pic would be great
|
So, any updates from the A Spec Tuning crew on prices and/or if I was wrong about the T04R BB?? I'm hoping to find out something about this. Also, I'm still wondering what kind of efficiency range the GT40BB is going to have? Thanx in advance. Laterz.

No new info on the GT40BB from A Spec??
|
Still not updated yet. It takes time
