hey guys, i'm looking to upgrade my turbos in my fd. i can't decide to go with either a M2 twin turbo upgrade.....or the gt35/40 single turbo upgrade i saw at rotormotorsports.com. if i was to go with one turbo, is the gt35/40

a good choice, or should i go with a trust or hks setup i see alot of you using. i heard that a single turbo setup is better cause there isn't as much vacume lines and stuff, is that true?? thanks for all your advice.

The M2 twins are close to the price of a single kit, and I've never seen any proven data on them.

well, both kits are ball bearing turbo(s). i've only heard good things about them, are they better???

why did u say 700 hp in ur thtread title?

grngtcfd3s 06-19-2002 07:54 PM

because the gt35/40 single turbo say 700hp on rotormotorsports.com

A single turbo setup is a much simplier setup, and has more potential for power. I would forget about 700hp, 400-450rwhp on the street is more like it. Very few guys put down that much power, and I have yet to see the dyno charts proving that turbo can make that kind of power.

Same here. All of those HP numbers mean nothing for now, but that turbo is certainly capable of well over 400 RWHP.

The turbo kit is more of a 450rwhp turbo, You will have to have alot of support to make this a 700hp kit, But it is capable. But like I said you'll need alot to get you there. Besides that there is no way you'll be able to run a 7 on the street with 700hp, it would be like driving on ice. We've had a couple of people buy and install the kit and at 10psi were seeing around 360rwhp with it not fully tunned.

If you have any questions this kit or other kits we carry send us a email at info@rotormotorsports.com or call us at 765-482-2988
