Scotts 13b REW T51S turbo, twin 255lph high flow walbro pumps (engine currently with blown corner seal on front rotor)

I thought scott got rid of the T-51S and went to a T-72?
|
Nope still has the T51s on it. engine bay is pretty empty right now, motor is blown apart, the front plate is gone...
|
in the 4th pic what is being T'd off? Normally just a fp gauge goes there...
And whose 3 rotor is that? Thats nice..... |
I am not quite sure where you are talking about being T'd off, could you be a little more specific?
The 3 Rotor FC3S is owned by Beau here in Okinawa Japan, and the pictures are posted with his permission. He spent 2 years and built this monster. The car is running now, but everytime he has it out, I don't have my camera with me. Here is another pic of the engine bay in its build up stages http://home.attmil.ne.jp//a/TheCamel/Beau.jpg Everything other than some tig welding and the custom intake and exhaust manifold was hand crafted by Beau, and his helpers all the motor mounts, the alternator mounts, the fuel system, wiring etc etc. The car is a labor of love for the man and he swore to have it complete for under $15,000 including the purchase price of the car. Doing most of it himself, he made it. |
And before you ask...
http://home.attmil.ne.jp//a/TheCamel/beau1.jpg It is a Turbonetics custom. He calls it a T-72, acctually larger than the Greddy T-88 on the compressor side |
I was talking about hardlyasleeper's pic
|
electric fuel pressure guage sensor, I would imagine.
|
ah didn't even think of that, has to be that.
|
yep, a pressure transducer.
|
Yes its a press. sender. I wasnt trying to impress anybody with the pics just put them up there to show someone some recent project pics

Camel,
Are Cosmo RE 2 rotors a popular conversion in Japan? I just installed a built RE into my FD using the FD's upper/lower intake (ported), REW front cover, stationary gears, oil pickup, pan, ect, and custom engine mounts. The ports are so much larger you'd think it would be a more popular mod in the fab it yourself world in Japan. |
