OOOHHH So nice....... but i think giving Sunkist Orange pop as fuel additive might be a lil too high of an octane boost https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

jspecracer7 06-04-2003 06:21 AM

I thought scott got rid of the T-51S and went to a T-72?

TheCamel 06-04-2003 06:29 AM

Nope still has the T51s on it. engine bay is pretty empty right now, motor is blown apart, the front plate is gone...

1Revvin7 06-06-2003 09:52 PM

in the 4th pic what is being T'd off? Normally just a fp gauge goes there...

And whose 3 rotor is that? Thats nice.....

TheCamel 06-06-2003 10:36 PM

I am not quite sure where you are talking about being T'd off, could you be a little more specific?

The 3 Rotor FC3S is owned by Beau here in Okinawa Japan, and the pictures are posted with his permission. He spent 2 years

and built this monster. The car is running now, but everytime he has it out, I don't have my camera with me. Here is

another pic of the engine bay in its build up stages

http://home.attmil.ne.jp//a/TheCamel/Beau.jpg

Everything other than some tig welding and the custom intake and exhaust manifold was hand crafted by Beau, and his helpers

all the motor mounts, the alternator mounts, the fuel system, wiring etc etc. The car is a labor of love for the man and he swore

to have it complete for under $15,000 including the purchase price of the car. Doing most of it himself, he made it.

TheCamel 06-06-2003 10:42 PM

And before you ask...

http://home.attmil.ne.jp//a/TheCamel/beau1.jpg

It is a Turbonetics custom. He calls it a T-72, acctually larger than the Greddy T-88 on the compressor side

1Revvin7 06-07-2003 07:33 PM

I was talking about hardlyasleeper's pic

TYSON 06-07-2003 07:36 PM

electric fuel pressure guage sensor, I would imagine.

1Revvin7 06-07-2003 08:03 PM

ah didn't even think of that, has to be that.

pengaru 06-07-2003 10:43 PM

yep, a pressure transducer.

hardlyasleeper 06-08-2003 12:32 AM

Yes its a press. sender. I wasnt trying to impress anybody with the pics just put them up there to show someone some recent project pics

Camel,

Are Cosmo RE 2 rotors a popular conversion in Japan? I just installed a built RE into my FD using the FD's upper/lower intake (ported), REW front cover, stationary gears, oil pickup, pan, ect, and custom engine mounts. The ports are so much larger you'd think it would be a more popular mod in the fab it yourself world in Japan.
