Anyone have a compressor map for the stock series 4 turbo? im just curious to see what they look like. I have one of my turbo somewhere around here from garett and i want to compare original to clipped..

Id like to see this too. Or can anyone tell me what the wheel is rated at in Lbs per min? Or a rough estimate of power potential at a given boost setting?

All I know it becomes inefficient past 9-10psi.

s4 turbo and s5 turbo will pull hard until anything above 15psi. Thats been my experience with them (as well as some s4 guys i know). after 15psi, it will actually slow down from blowing such hot air. I wouldnt go more than 10 psi though ... i was just experimenting. And i blew the engine :-p

well we know sandor makes 260rwhp@max boost on an s4 turbo, and um i bet we could take a couple more dyno sheets and get a rough idea

im gonna toss on the stock turbo on a big street port in a couple days, i'll dyno it and toss up some numbers. I'll try 10 psi and 15 psi. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

the factory manual tells you not to take it over 14.2 psi. and they always slightly go under the danger zone so 14.5 would be close to bad..but as for being efficent. 12-14 psi. after that all hot air. but still 13 psi held will feel pretty good on an fc.

its nto about the psi, its all about the flow, sandors car wouldnt even go oever 10 psi with a closed wastegate passed 5k rpm. the turbo just woudlnt be able to spin fast enouf to keep up withteh engien so the pressure will drop as flow goes up sinece it needs to work harder but it cant. so if you are gettign more psi but the HP is similar all that means is that your setup doesnt flow well.
