I've got a 87 turbo II with a hybrid turbo. I'm Upgrading the fuel pump to a walbro 255, 720cc injectors, Boost cut defender, and I'm not sure what kind of regulator yet. anyway my question is what is the Max boost on a stock port... I was thinking like 10 PSI's on the stock ECU, and then like maybe 15+PSI with E6K or Microtech. Is that possible on a stock port? if so is it dangerous? My goal is to up the boost and gain HP, the safest way possible.

No well what I ment is I'm upgrading fuel system ( - the intake porting)and I'm getting a stang alone engine managment...anyway my question was what would be the max safe boost on an engine with an upgraded fuel system and Engine managment. I think you guys already answered that question 15 PSI. So 15 PSI it is, now what kind of hp would one expect from 15 PSI?

As long as you have the fuel to support the extra air and good tuning you be ok. I have seen people run 1.6-1.7 on stock seals with very little porting.

Ok sweet. I got a pretty good fmic, fuel is on the way, along with stand alone engine managment. I'm dying to beat this cobra that thinks rotarys are lawn mower engines.
