Single Turbo How-to
#1
Hi Guys,
I am going for a single turbo setup from the stock twins... i got the whole kit in bits and pieces and have no instructions...
I have a T04e Turbo
A turbosmart Ultra-gate 45mm wastegate
a manifold for the turbo with a fitiing for the wastegate
a downpipe
But here is the catch i do not have any idea what to block-off and what vaccums stay and which ones go... what do i do with the actuators..
Some detailed Instructions with pics would be greatly appreciated like the ones people have posted for the non-sequential setup...

it basically is the non seq setup bro. You just put on all the single turbo parts instead. Its still pretty complicated as usual with this car.

Hi Guys,
Here is the reason why i need the detailed instructions. I just blew my engine. The rebuild kit is on its way. This will be the first time that the guy who is rebuilding my engine will be rebuilding a rotary. I have also ordered the bruce turrentine rebuild video with the kit to facilitate the rebuild process.
I just got this single turbo off of another FD who also just blew his engine. He had installed the turbo himself and it is a custom fabricated turbo kit so i do not get any block off plates or instructions.. I do not know which oil lines to block.. Making block off plates here would be very cheap...
So i am very confused because i do not want to put the twins back in and then again take the twins out and put the sinlge in... It would cost me alot too.
I need detailed instructions so that i can be sure if there is a problem its not the single turbo.. Else i would have to check both the engine and the turbo...
I hope i got my message through..
Please a detailed single turbo conversion....
thanks
