I just bought my first rx-7 (fd) and i can't decide which single turbo kit to buy. i would like something that is relatively quick spooling (since this will be my everyday car) but i also want it to be able to produce at least 400 horses at 15-20 psi so i can kick some viper ass. i also am looking for it to be reliable/well crafted. money is an issue as well but i don't want it to limit my choices. i'd rather pay more for a quality product than less for a p.o.s.

any suggestions?

(so far, i've been considering the t-78, apex'i rx6, and a used hks t04e with 3000 mi on it)

To4E kit would your best bet, for price/pwr range/ how fast it would spool

just by looks, does this kit (t04e) look to be in good shape. i have no clue how to tell.

hey i just noticed you are in sw florida. i am in fort myers and i have the rx6 kit. where do you live? do you own a rx7 or are you just looking around? you need alot of parts not just the turbo kit to make your car run right. i sent at least 9grand thus far on just making the car run with the new turbo kit. i still need a clutch and i am still waiting for chuck from rotayextreme.com to come back from tas03 so he can send my boost controller. i also know of another guy in naples with a 78 kit. his name is michel and his car is super nice. his t78 is modified and its has bigger compressor wheel. michel really knows his stuff and i think he helps alot of rx7 guys in the area besides me. michel helped me tune my pfc, and gave some pointers on the install. i am always posting in the sw forum on this board so come on down and talk to us local guys sometime in that forum.
