I was just looking around rx-7store.net and found this: https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=220&1=362&3=720

It's finally got a price tag on it.. but no info.. so, still not sure what it's worth.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

FikseRxSeven 04-22-2003 12:28 AM

looks interesting......... its a turn off that it coming from that place though

HedgeHog 04-22-2003 01:54 AM

iirc, that's the smaller GT25 kit. the GT28 kit is around $5500.

j9fd3s 04-22-2003 12:27 PM

k2rd did a 3035 setup like that as a one off, they look cool

Thats a heafty price tag for a twin setup. It better be able to do something a custum single setup can't do for twice the price.

Node 04-22-2003 03:48 PM

why are those homos using the border racing twins pic?

****** weak

turbovr6 04-22-2003 03:52 PM

trash

Yea, I agree with you on that.. Damn. Considering everyone's replys.. this kit must suck..?! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

Node 04-23-2003 05:37 AM

actually, it shouldnt suck, just people dont like rx7store. personally i dont care about rx7store either way, neither good nor bad

i told jason that people would seriously frown upon him for having a pic of the border kit and he said it was only temporary and he should be getting the real pictures in a day or two. so thats good

GarageBoy 04-23-2003 07:12 PM

What's wrong with the rx7store?

Midnightdriver 04-23-2003 08:05 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png I guess I should stay real faraway form them while building my project.

It's a long story, but in a nutshell, Jason used to (still does I'm told) screw people all the time. He never had anything in stock and would lie to folks that he did. He would pass 2nd rate items as M2 products (still does I'm told) and than there's the whole banning thing, but I'll save that for you for another night. I know you post over there all the time, that's OK, just don't buy anything from Jason, you'll regret it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

GarageBoy 04-23-2003 10:53 PM

oh, so what's a better place?

GarageBoy 04-26-2003 08:07 PM

Hmm.. http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.ph...threadid=127346 <-- he explains the M2 performance problem

damn... he really used to screw up people's orders. That place is so damn expensive, i'd have thought that they'd have at least gotten that right. M2 parts--tisk tisk

Actually I broke down and bought hard pipes for my M2 intake box from the RX7store.. RX7trix didn't have hard pipe for the box..

rfreeman27 05-03-2003 04:21 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png yeah when i called up M2 for a harness bar, they told me that they didnt deal with RX-7 store because they kept ripping off thier designs, ect...

kinda shitty for a vendor to take his suppliers designs isnt it?

turborotor 05-03-2003 11:55 PM

I'm still waiting for my brake pads. He said he shipped them, and that was 3 years ago lol. At least i didnt' get charged.

FikseRxSeven 05-04-2003 12:08 AM

still waiting for my hood....... ******* hood is the only thing left for me to get my car!!!!!!! 3 god damn months...... ever ever order from rx7store

r_xplicit 05-04-2003 11:06 AM

uhhh......wasn't A-spec tuning supposed to be the company that was building the kit in question? i read something about it in a thread a few weeks ago, and was wondering if there was any real correlation.....

In question.. well, according to rx7store.. they are ready..

ccarlisi 05-09-2003 08:35 AM

lol this cracks me up:

"They are very apologetic...I am highly pissed...they offer me a new RX7Store sticker as consolation!!! A GODDAMN STICKER!!! What am I? A fricken Honda driver? I'm going to parade your damn sticker on my car...be a rolling red billboard for your clusterf*ck of an operation?? Whatever..."

Jason seems like he's sympathetic when problems arise. A lot of this stuff is probably not his fault directly/personally, but as a manager he is responsible for the system. Personally I'd never buy from anywhere that I have to keep tabs on. I don't have enough time as it is and I'm not going to waste it "motivating" vendors to deliver after I've given them my money.

My A-list:

-Mazdatrix

-RotaryExtreme (in the old days as RX7fashion)

-Rotormotorsports (several good purchase experiences, but I know other people haven't been as lucky).

-Malloy Mazda

-A-spec

LMFAO! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif Where the **** have you been for the past 6 months? Rotormotorsports is no longer around, and Slava ripped MANY people off and got his ass sued, and maybe even jail time...

I was one of the people he told "Your parts have already shipped." Needless to say I will never get them.

lol yeah slava is having some problems thats for sure. i wouldnt recommend rotormotorsports to anyone.

ccarlisi 05-09-2003 11:49 AM

YES YES YES I know all about the problems people have had with him. I'm aware rotormotorsports is history. The short list I provided was based on my personal experience not 2nd hand info posted on a message board. Regardless of what Slava did to other people, and I have no reason to doubt the stories I've heard, everything I ordered from him went out when he said it would, and arrived on or BEFORE the date promised. You're right though this is moot and for that reason I probably should have left it off the list.

sidewinderx7 05-12-2003 09:54 AM

I would recommend it to teknics... thats about it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif
