Mine will be on the road in a few days. The kit is top notch. Everything fits perfectly. Dee installed the kit on my car probably 15 times to make sure everything was perfect down to the oil drain flange. Whoever ordered this kit will be happier than hell. Just thought I would give an update.

yeah, when i made the drain flanges i left them longer than needed to make sure we could cut them down to ensure the fit was right once everything was inplace. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

The manifold and turbo are beautiful, I have held em, and seen the kit installed. Very high quality. I might buy one myself in a few months https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

What fuel rail are you running and what injector sizes? What computer are you going to be running? What tire size are you using, and what kind of port do you have done to the motor?

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png You are gonna bastardize a CYM? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

But your car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Not mine.

So pretty much the R85 kit is running the same things needed as the Davinchi To4 kits?

Actually the car is already "bastardized" as you call it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif I'm not really sure how a 9 sec. super clean CYM is considered basterdized....

The T04s kit is nothing like the R85 kit except the both include a turbo.

What is already done to the CYM?

What I meant was the injectors, fuel rails, downpipe, wastegate, and manifold is the same thing on the R85 kit? Or is the same size injectors? Just curious.

no injectors are included. you will need more fuel to support the havock of the r85 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/v2.gif

93 R1 06-29-2004 10:03 PM

you have alot of research to do man. You need to use the search button and read all the FAQ sections. I see you posting all kinds of off the wall ****, and most of the time it doesn't make sense. Take some time to read.

I have never seen a turbo kit come with injectors or rails.

rowtareh 06-29-2004 10:23 PM

You misread my post, or I wrote it wrong.

I am talking about the injectors that need to be bought to support the R85 compared to the To4. I am not talking about injectors and the rails coming with the kit. Only thing that I know that comes with the kit is the wastegate, downpipe, turbo of course.

I did write the post wrong. My mistake. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

the kit includes turbo, manifold, downpipe, oil lines, oil block off plates, and the filter. you will need 720 or larger in the primary and 1600 in the secondary. i have 850/1600 and 2 pumps.

Fd3BOOST 06-30-2004 07:21 AM

RowTar I would make the same suggestion. Try to use the forum as a tool and do some research. It's no biggie that you dont know. It's obvious that your interested but no one else wants to read through your assumptious posts when the info is there for the picking. All you need to do is spend some time reading through some of the FAQ's so that you can get a better idea of what your talking about.

Turbo kits generally include a turbo, manifold, downpipe, wastegate, oil line and some hard ware. 93R1 was saying that none of the **** in the to4 kit I bought is the same as the R-85 kit that Reactive Racing sells.

Yes it has all the same componets but they are generally much nicer.

Also fuel systems need to be upgraded but those are not included in any turbo kits. Those are up to the individual to buy. My fuel set up is more than enough to handle a R85. I might tap out my fuel pump (cosmo) If I was shooting for over 500hp. My injectors are certainly large enough. Anyway before posting much in the single turbo forum please do some more research so people who are looking for info do not have to muddle through all the pointless chat.

Cheers.

heads up..

original cym did not come with cruise...

and the bay seems a bit fresh...

ErnieT 06-30-2004 09:53 PM

It doesn't have cruise.....Its an R1. The car was owned by a close friend of mine. He literally srubbed every inch of the engine bay with a toothbrush. Hell, Dee must have had 700 toothbrushes on his garage floor...lol

rowtareh 06-30-2004 10:26 PM

Looks nice. But if I OWNED(never gonna happen) a CYM, I would keep it stock and just daily drive it. But that is me, and not anybody else.

Will we be seeing this monster at the MD BBQ or at MIR?

Fd3BOOST 06-30-2004 10:46 PM

Yea that car is realy clean. I saw it at Demetrious's house once. Super clean CYM. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

amp 07-01-2004 04:26 PM

my mistake....

pic you posted shows it has the cruise on the cluster hood...

and the other without any trace of strut bar markings on the towers...

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/upl...1088645335.jpg

ErnieT 07-01-2004 05:07 PM

I actually went to look today. NO CRUISE....lol....As for the strut tower bar, it was taken off when we put the HKS coilovers on.
