Is the stock OMP alone enough to support 400+ rwhp, or would you need to run premix?

It can't hurt, especially with the extra stress the hp will put on the motor. I run 8 oz amsoil premix with every tank of gas.

My motor is going in within a few days, and I need to decide on what front cover to use. Im considering using a S4 mechanical OMP, but if I would still have to premix, Ill just say screw the OMP completely.

Ive been running premix for 2 years with no OMP. It can be a pain to have some 2 stroke oil every time you get gas, but Ive dealt with it for 2 years, so it doesnt really matter anymore.

what is this premix you speak of? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

Why get a 2k turbo, 3k rebuild all that work, but your too lazy to put some oil in the gas to make your motor wear twice as long. That's just my opinion. |
