can anyone tell me quickly what length of steel braded hose I need, and what size an fitting I need for the tap on the engine?

The block adapter is 14X1.5mm

18" of line is about perfect

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png thanks. I put off getting the line today but I got an fittings for my water inlet and ret. and I also got my oil drane adaptor ordered and turbo inlet gasket.
almost forgot what size line should I go with? |
i would do like a -4an...9base3 would know best though since he recently did it. i am just going off what i helped my friend make last year
|
thanks. another question. I don't see many people posting about it or any write ups in any mag. but has anyone kept there water feed for the turbo? I wanted to do this to keep the thing as cool as I could when the outside air temp is up around 100+. and would -6 lines be to big? or just cap them off and just use oil with a dual oil cooler set up?
|
it depends on the turbo. for example i run an rx6 which is only oil cooled...so i have the water lines capped and rerouted. my other friend uses a 60-1 which is water and oil cooled so he has a line running there also.

Ok my turbo is a turbonetics T04E b.b. P trim. but still is -6 lines to big? or should I go with -4 like for the oil feed?
