This is suppose to be the first of its kind; a stage5 turbine(very close to a standard Gt35R's turbine) mated to a BB GT35R with a T4 1.0 split housing. Stage5 turbines have never been available from Garrett in a T4 turbine housing. The real benefit is you can now basically a Gt35R with a more rotary friendly turbine a/r( 1.0) with a divided turbine housing. The 1.06 from Garrett for the Gt35R is not available. A 1.06 has been coming from the aftermarket, but word is they aren't available anymore. Precision might have done this( stage5 in a T4 turbine housing), but they have been open volute housings. Also check out the slick turbine discharge; should help with leaks, self centering, and is seamless inside.
We have been doing T4 Gt35R hybrids for a while, however they use much larger P trim turbine( about two steps up); comparison photo below. Response isn't as nice, however more ultimate power is obtainable. Both turbos are available BB or journal bearing. |

Not yet.
New turbo is going into a 1st gen.. |

I would be interested to see the power band this makes when you get it running.

We sell them. We can make one for your first gen if you like, they are $250. We've also got other options for heat-managment( pictured below ). I would get a To4Z( T66 ) personally. Anything bigger is just too much on a the street, you can do 500rwhp with that turbo, that is more than plenty especially in a 1st gen. |
