I'm thinking about using mild steel for I/C tubing, have any of you guys used it before?
I'm guessing it would be fine because of the turbo naturally letting a little oil by to coat the inside of the tubing? |
hmmm ss is not an option?
|
I don't see why it wouldn't work.

i made my own, for the first time, on the 20b. and steel was easy to work with and cheap. the plan was to use aluminum later but i think i'm too lazy to do that https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

yah, i think you could use it for exhaust, it was out of the scrap bin

then you can powdercoat it or something like that and it will look good and probably still cost less then buying namebrand stuff
